Shipping and Freight Charges
All items are supplied FOB Origin (AKA FOB ExWorks – the shipping point). In most cases, the origin/shipping point will be our warehouse in Lynnwood, WA 98087. In other cases, products will drop ship to you directly from a factory origin/shipping point. Freight charges in either scenario will be prepaid by Northwest Caster & Equipment and added to your invoice, unless other shipping arrangements are made at the time of order. Loss or Damage in Transit
For items that are supplied FOB Origin (AKA FOB ExWorks), INCOTERMS state that the title for the goods sold transfer to you, the Customer, when we give the product to the transportation company. As a result, any and all claims for loss or damage should be addressed with the transportation company. If you note that your shipment is damaged or short, please note this immediately to the transportation company. We will assist you to the best of our ability for any freight claims that arise from this shipment. Returns & Errors
If you ordered the wrong product, please call us immediately (800) 562-6998 for an RGA number (Return Goods Authorization). All returns must show the RGA number clearly on the container and be shipped back to Northwest Caster & Equipment freight pre-paid by the customer. A 20% restocking fee applies to all returned good, unless we shipped the order incorrectly. No returns or claims will be considered after 30 days.
We are authorized factory distributors for all product lines supplied, so all items purchased from us come with the manufacturers limited warranty. Any product that exhibits a defect in materials or workmanship within a period of one year from date of purchase will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of charge. However, the defect must be promptly reported to us, and prior authorization must be obtained before returning any item for replacement or rework. Warranty does not apply in cases of overloading, misapplication, accident, abuse, normal wear-and-tear, or unusual operating conditions (such as temperature extremes) about which we are not consulted in advance. Modification or misuse (including overloading) of product voids the warranty and absolves the seller of liability. Load capacities are stated in the product description. Casters and wheels are not intended for human conveyance. In all cases our liability shall be limited to the invoice cost of the product.
The estimated ship date is based on our in-house stock levels and supplier schedules (for non-stock items). We assume no liability for lost profit, incidental or consequential damages due to delay, factory error or product failure. We will contact you to discuss your options if we are going to miss a scheduled shipment.
Local sales tax will be added to the order based on the rules as set by the local taxing authority.
